The landmark committee of Palm Beach finally decided to designate the beautiful Post Office building located at 95 North County Road in Palm Beach the landmark designation.

This building looks like something out of dream. It is absolutely stunning. Small for American standards but still functioning and serving Palm Beach residents just fine. Its interior tiled floor is very well preserved.

Another address that was land-marked by the same committee is 236 Worth Avenue. This one though had only its facade land-marked since the rest of the building has been totally overhauled over the years.

Since the 1940's, the Town Docks in Palm Beach have provided space for both sail and power yachts. The Brazilian, Australian and Peruvian Docks are tucked away at the west end of the avenues for which they are named. With the increased production of "mega yachts," providing larger slips is important. The 1997 extension added to the Australian Dock was designed to berth vessels from 120' to 190', providing state of the art electrical power for these stately yachts. The Town of Palm Beach Docks is one of the few marinas on the entire east coast that can accommodate the larger yachts. While the Australian Dock is the focal point of the marina with its display of large and magnificent yachts, the Brazilian Dock has a family-oriented appeal and the Peruvian Dock has an uninterrupted majestic view looking over Lake Worth to the south. Town Docks are centrally located; close to fine restaurants, exclusive hotels, and world famous Worth Avenue and many special seasonal events.
