I cannot explain how important college football is to me and how it has been to every member of my family. I live in Florida and I graduated from the University of Alabama. My heart is with my team every game day. My son has a pharmacy in Florida and has Alabama banners everywhere in his store. I manage my real estate so I will not have one phone call during Alabama's game. Auburn who? Oh yes, the family is split. My brother in law played at Auburn and we do not speak when Auburn and Alabama play. Oh, it was not pretty last year!

It is a family affair. As a young college student, I experience watching Broadway Joe Namath (number 12) and Alabama to many national championships. Yes, the story goes, "Bear Bryant walked on water". I loved watching Alabama football then and now. If I am in Florida, I keep in touch with all my Alabama friends on Facebook. They send me videos of the pre game parties. I even watch Joe Namaths preview of the game on You Tube.
My granddaughter is now attending the University of Alabama and is a true Bama Fan. My second granddaughter is going to Alabama next year. You see, this is serious business and everyone knows that when it is time for BAMA FOOTBALL not to call me. GO BAMA GO
This weekend the game with Kent State and Alabama will fund the tornado victims of last spring. My granddaughter and many young students escaped the tornado. The tornado just missed our beautiful stadium. Coach Sabin announce the proceeds would be donated to the tornado victims back in May.
So I am ready. Roll Tide.

Horses are very healing. I have experienced how my horse farm helped to heal my family and me after experiencing a tragic loss. The gentleness of horses can do so much for people that are suffering from illness or a loss of a loved one. I just blo
gged about a farm that I sold in Jupiter, Florida that has been converted to work with people that are under Doctor's care.
I want to introduce my readers to Daisy, my Thoroughbred. This photo is of Daisy when we rescued her. My husband received a call one morning from a man that said he had a grey mare that had lost half it's huff during a race in Ft. Lauderdale. It was either Daisy would be put down or we would go get her.
Daisy, had won several races on the track, While racing, the horse in front of Daisy clipped her foot and cut half way across her huff. Daisy could hardly walk. She still does not get around very well, but she is alive.
I look at Daisy every day and she is slowly gaining her weight back. Horses helped me so much when I really did not know what I needed to do to get myself going again from my loss. Therefore, Daisy is an everyday reminder to me that we must give back what other give to us. My grand daughter spent time with Daisy this past weekend. There is sadness in her eyes. I know that she would love to run because that is what she was born to do. We have to wait for Daisy to give her feed because it takes her a little longer to get her snack. Yes, DAISY CAME IN LAST at the track but she placed first at our farm.
