What would you say to ice skating in Central Park in December??
No...not in New York City, but in Palm Coast, Florida!! The City has set up an ice skating rink in Central Park at Town Center, just in time to inaugurate new holiday traditions for your family. The rink is a great place to spend quality time making new memories...it's so unique, so much fun, so affordable! Skating will be open to the public from Wednesday, December 1st through Sunday, January 2nd. Hours are: •Monday through Thursday – 5:30-9:00 p.m. •Friday – 6:00 to 10:00 p.m. •Saturday – Noon to 10:00 p.m. •Sunday – 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. No skates? No problem! Admission and rentals cost only $8 for adults and $5 for children, 13 and under. If you're planning to attend the Annual Holiday Starlight Parade and the Parks & Recreation Fantasy Fest on December 11th or the December Rotary Fantasy Lights Display, add ice skating to your must list of things to do in Central Park. The rink will be located at the front entrance, about one half mile north of Flagler Palm Coast High School at Bulldog Drive. Beach 92.7 FM is a co-sponsor for the ice rink. For additional information, please call the Parks & Recreation Department at 386-986-2323.
