Matanzas Woods is located west of I-95 and is the furthest Palm Coast community to the North. This community is very popular with people who commute and work in St. Augustine & Jacksonville due to its close proximity to US1 with direct access to I-95.

Matanzas Woods also has become more popular since the north bridge over the interstate connecting the west side to the east side was completed, making access to the New Matanzas High School, the beaches and upcoming commercial developments in Palm Coast Park. Oh did I mention it has a golf course.

Because of the real estate downturn of home and vacant land prices in Northern Florida...you can now find affordable homes in Matanzas Woods that sold for tens of thousands more just a few short years ago.

A significant decrease is prices has again occurred just within the last 6 months...making the prices of homes in all of Palm Coast very attractive

Market update for August 2008

There was only 1 sale in July in the community of Matanzas Woods...the good news...it was not a distressed sales and the home sold for $365,000. The bad news, is that was on rare home and the average sale price fell significantly when sales were recorded for the month of August.
