Palm Harbor's Oak Trail Books will be celebrating the Spring Equinox with a fireside circle on March 20th at the store, located in downtown Palm Harbor! Be sure to bring drums, rattles or whatever you prefer to join in the celebration!

If the weather should turn nasty, the celebration will take place indoors! The event will start at 7pm - location is on Florida Avenue in Palm Harbor!

Palm Harbor has the most wonderful cafe called The Witch's Brew and once again they will be having live entertainment!!!!

GEORGE ELLIOT will be performing contemporary rock music on Friday, March 7th starting at 7:30 in the evening! MATT FORSYTHE will be playing his acoustic guitar on Saturday, March 8th!!!

The following weekend, THE GREY BASTARDS will kick off the weekend on Friday, March 14th with a full evening of music to be followed on Saturday, the 15th by THE DEFENDANTS. Saturday will also be the St Patrick's Day celebration!!! Rick, husband of co-owner Lesley, plays drums with The Defendants!!!

Palm Harbor Getting More Reclaimed Water

Palm Harbor citizens can celebrate the fact that the city is bringing reclaimed water to more homes! The city is laying pipes Belcher and US 19 (east-west boundaries) and Alderman and CR 39 (east-west boundaries) to expand the area already benefiting from being able to water their lawns and shrubs with reclaimed water.

The additional eight miles of pipes is costing the city $1.5 million, but it is a project that we desperately need as we see our local water shortages increasing and drought conditions not improving. This is something that needs to be expanded throughout the county!
