Avondale is a highly sought after neighborhood in Sarasota, Florida. It is located in the coveted "West of the Trail" area where so many people want to live. You will find a good mix of homes for sale in Avondale. This is old Sarasota so many of the structures were built in the 1950's and 1960's and either have been remodeled or in need of a remodel. Some of the older structures have been torn down to make way for newer homes. Residents in Avondale have the luxury of convenience.
