Welcome to beautiful Casey Key in Nokomis, Florida. Just south of Sarasota, this slice of paradise is Florida's best kept secret. So if you don't mind, let's just keep it between us.

No fishing license is required on the pier either. Make a day of it and enjoy the nearby picnic shelters and volleyball courts as well. Make your way down the beach to Casperson Beach where there is no development and miles of beautiful, sandy beach views. One section of the beach, called Paw Park, is the perfect, dedicated spot to bring your “best friend” and meet other dogs and dog owners.

Venice Beach is also known as the “Shark’s Tooth Capital of the World,” and you’ll often see locals and tourists alike digging in the sand to add to their collection. There is something about the currents and wave patterns that bring these triangular treasures to the shores by the hundreds. There is even an annual Sharks Tooth Festival features music, food, and more than 100 artists.
