Seller's Agent Defends Bank's Actions In Crushing His Client - Sarasota Short Sale

I have successfully managed Short Sales on behalf of many Sarasota and Manatee County homeowners and have always believed it to be my FIRST priority to defend the interests of my sellers over those of the bankers -- perhaps it's my training as an attorney that causes me to take my advocacy role so seriously, or perhaps it is simply my sense of justice and fair-play in the face of the massive fraud that the bankers have perpetrated against our society.

The Story Of a Lender Intentionally Persecuting a Down-and-out Homeowner . . .

In an article recently published in our local Herald Tribune newspaper titled, "Short-sale Travails In Southwest Florida," the story of a woman being persecuted by her second mortgage lender, USAA, is told. You can google the article yourself to get all of the gory details of how this bank is knowingly and intentionally causing great pain to a homeowner who has fallen on tough financial times and yet has tried to do everything right in terms of working things out in an honorable and legally correct way. Suffice it to say that in my opinion there is NOTHING JUSTIFIABLE about the way USAA is acting -- NOTHING!

Imagine My Shock When I Read The Following . . .

When asked about the persecution being inflicted upon his seller by the bank, the article characterized the agent as taking, "a more nuanced view." While graciously admitting that, "He understands [seller's] plight," he also added that he, "Is not without sympathy for USAA."

What! Are you freakin' kidding me!

With regards to the bank, this agent takes the position that, "They're negotiating very hard, it's true, but I'd be hard-pressed to say that's inappropriate . . . Do I wish USAA were more accommodating? Of course I do. But there are unscrupulous sellers out there who actually can afford the payments. A lot of these banks had the feeling they were being taken advantage of. They're looking out for themselves."

Good God Almighty! The Poor [corrupt,vengeful and vicious] Bankers Are Afraid Of Being Taken Advantage Of . . .

The bankers have single handedly caused more damage to our economy and society than all of the wars this nation has ever engaged in combined. I would NEVER, EVER, UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE WHATSOEVER defend the persecution of one of my sellers by a bank -- NEVER! I work on behalf of my sellers and that's it. NEVER would such thoughts of justification of the bankers' illegitimate actions enter into my mind. NEVER!
