Blogging in my opinion is definitely a fun and effective way of marketing on the internet. I am usually excited when an ideal topic of interest pops into my head during my day. That ideal is usually very specific in nature, something that I can really focus in on and create great content with.
However, sometimes you may have your entire blogging game plan mapped out and still not have the ability to produce a single sentence to your satisfaction. Sometimes I sit at my screen with my notepad and I sit and stare for about an hour before I begin writing anything at all. It happens to us all.
I think the key to being able to produce content is to just relax! Do not make blogging a chore. Even if you have an extremely busy schedule, at the end of the day when you check your email like most people do, write a few sentences on a topic and just post it. It doesn't have to be ground breaking or earth shattering information. Just get in the habit of putting content out onto the web. You will improve in time.
What I like to do with my blog is make it fully customizable. I like to change formats, fonts, colors, make it personal. I do this because it makes blogging more personal to me, it becomes "my site". Once you invest your ideas and time into your blog, you will feel less intimidated and rigid about posting your thoughts onto the web.
Happy Blogging!

This weekend the South Florida Sun Sentinel featured a story about Howard Mallinger and his wife Sheryl. Howard never imagined that his retirement years would end up like this. His wife was diagnosed with Stage IV brain cancer and the medical expenses are crippling his life. His home is in pre foreclosure, his electricity has been shut off, his social security income doesn't cover his expenses and he has to go to local food banks for food for him and his two mentally challenged sons. I've inserted more details of his heart wrenching struggles which you can read and listen to by clicking on the link below:
Sun Sentinel story on the Mallingers
I met Mr. Mallinger yesterday with my family and he's a man that still has great faith and hope even after all that he has been through. I'm thankful to have met him. If you could keep the Mallingers in your prayers, I know that they would be forever grateful.
If anyone would like to donate to him, I would be glad to facilitate that. If you choose to help, you could make a check or money order payable to Howard Mallinger and mail it to my attention at my Keller Williams office or you could even mail it to the Nursing Center where Howard's wife Sheryl is staying. Here are the addresses:
Keller Williams Partners Realty Attn: Lynn Pineda 1801 N Pine Island Rd #210 Plantation FL 33322
or
West Broward Nursing and Rehab Center 7751 W Broward Blvd. Plantation FL 33324 (954-473-8040)
The more you know, the better prepared, the better the outcome.

It seems there are plenty of people who have been cheating the systems. (What's new?) It looks like people who have moved away and have been renting out there homes. It makes sense with the inventory still so high to at least cover the cost of the mortgage.
Here is the problem. Since they moved away its no longer consider a Primary Residence. So you are to report when you move away and you will be taxed differently. This money is used as our school money and for fire and police for starters. So here we are losing money because they haven't updated there records.
So the property appraisers office is going through all the records and heading out to the homes and looking to see if people are still in there homes or if someone else is there.
The City of Sunrise was able to recover $181,000. It may not seem like alot of money, but when a school can put that money go back into the system that can cover alot!!
So if you have moved and haven't updated your address I suggest you do so now.
