Here is yet another article on what the government is doing to avoid the fact that we need less government and more state involvement in settling the debt crisis. WASHINGTON – Dec. 19, 2011 – Some scam artists prey on homeowners hoping to refinance under the government’s Home Affordable Modification Program (HAMP). To combat the problem, several federal agencies are banding together and forming a task force to crack down on con artists falsely claiming they can save homeowners’ mortgages through HAMP.
