Vanderbilt Beach, FL

Howdy folks,

Today was a beautiful day except for the cold temperatures. Blue sky and LOTS of sunshine and great company. Went out to the beach to catch the sunset, left before it was set and then drove over a bridge and had to stop to take some pictures.... probably some of the best Sunset photo's I've taken in the past few months.

Pictures are looking down Wiggin's Pass out into the Gulf of Mexico....

Hello folks,

Went for a "cool" walk on the beach this morning. Nice and sunny day, but the temps were hovering in the low 50's .... which made it a tad cool. The gulf was quite churned up because of the strong winds the past few days. Hopefully this will bring more shells up on the beach, but we will just have to wait and see.

First picture is of a guy "paddle surfing" out in the mouth of Wiggin's Pass..

The Jelly Fish below was about the size of a basketball.

Hello folks,

Southwest Florida has FINALLY gotten back to normal weather. The high today was in the mid 70s and sunny. I was fortunate to be able to hit the beach twice ... once at 9:30am this morning and then again for sunset tonight. Quite a relief to be able to enjoy the beach wearing shorts & a T-shirt ... which has not been possible for the past two weeks.

Both visits to the beach today were at Vanderbilt Beach in Naples, Florida.

Can anyone guess all the issues that is wrong with this picture..... besides the fact that it is 46 degrees in PARADISE this morning and too cold for anyone to be swimming.!!!
