Here we have an example of Florida's Finest, a 4 foot Alligator. I found him sauntering by my Sunday open House in Governor's Green at Plantation Golf and Country Club, in Venice Florida. One neighbor came out with camera, and the Gator sprinted about 30 yards before playing the "snake" role again. By the time these off-spring get about this size, old dad sends them away to find their own pond/lake and meet some mates from another family... no in-breeding allowed!
