85^th Anniversary Beach Bash in Venice FL on February 18, 2012

The City of Venice was incorporated by the Florida Legislature on May 9, 1927. Well known city planner John Nolen was the designer and Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers the developer. Come join the free party and celebrate the 85^th Anniversary Beach Bash in Venice FL on February 18, 2012.

Admission: FREE to all ages.

Schedule of events:

10:45 am - Ribbon Cutting to celebrate the restoration of Old Betsy, the city's first fire engine, a 1926 American LaFrance

Demonstrations and activities:

12:00 Noon- Paddle boarding
1:00pm - Sailing
2:00 pm - Kayaking
5:00 pm - Drum Circle until sunset
