The Venice FL weekly Venice regional area residential statistics 11/5/2011 table shows the week between October 30 and November 5, 2011. There were 66 new listings in the market. 54 listings went under contract and 24 listings were sold. During the week of October 23 and October 29, 2011 there were 55 new listings, 46 listings have a contract and 28 listings were sold. Within a week pending listing 17.39% increase

According to the Venice FL weekly Venice regional area residential statistics 11/5/2011, comparing the inventory of homes since September 2010, the indication is that inventories have been going down since March 2011 and going up in September 2011. Also, the number of new listings, listings under contract, and sold listings have been leveling out. Sellers see the home prices inching up and are encouraged to list their homes for sale.

There were 55 new listings in the market. 46 listings went under contract and 20 listings were sold. During the week of October 9 and October 15, 2011 there were 66 new listings, 52 listings have a contract and 27 listings were sold. Within a week new listing 16.66% decrease (low inventory) .

According to the Venice FL weekly Venice regional area residential statistics 10/22/2011, comparing the inventory of homes since September 2010, the indication is that inventories have been going down since March 2011. Also the number of new listings, listings went under contract and number of sold listings have been leveling out. Home prices are dependent on supply and demand, if the inventory is going down, buyers are buying, less homes in the market for sale, then the home prices will go up.
