Bridgewater is conveniently located just minutes from Wiregrass, the Groves and other shopping, restaurants and I-75, just north of the I-275 connection. Bridgewater is only about an hour from the closest public Beach in Tarpon Springs, Howard Park. Hospitals are within 15 minutes and the VA hospital is only a little futher down Bruce B Downs Blvd. Downtown Town, Channelside District, Ybor City, Tampa Ports for Cruise Ship Terminals, Busch Gardens, and other major Tampa attractions are within 30 minutes.
The schools are right down the street, and many children walk in large groups to Wesley Chapel Elementary school, Thomas Weightman Middle School and Wesley Chapel High school. The high school has a very large auditorium used by other nearby Pasco Schools, Dance Studios for recitals, and other large functions, such as school winter and spring performances.
Bridgewater is a deed restricted community located in within the Wesley Chapel / Zephyrhills area of Pasco County FL. Some of the addresses with USPS, actually show up as Zephyrhills, FL. The community was first started in 2004, and most of the homes were built during the peak of the housing market, closing out final phases in 2007. There are about 760 homes within Bridgewater. Bridgewater is a resident managed community with CDD's (Community Development District). The CDD portion is managed by Rizzetta & Co.
