Yes, it may only be March 4th, but there are signs of spring everywhere. Two days ago, it was 77 degress. Okay, that maybe a little warmer than it should be, but today while I was out, I saw bright green patches of grass popping up along the highway. I am sure that flowers aren't far behind. 
Just look at the beautiful blossoms on this tree!
The other thing I saw popping up are signs for First Friday in historic downtown Canton, GA. If you haven't been, Canton, GA has a quaint downtown area on the first friday of every month, the town will come alive, with food, music and fun. It is a great family event, so mark your calendar for first friday in April.

Let me introduce you to one of the newest restaurants in Canton, GA. It is called Sixes Tavern is just 2 miles west of Interstate 575 on Sixes Road.
It is a positive sign of changing times, much of the commercial real estate that has been sitting vacant on Sixes Road is coming to life including Sixes Tavern.
I recently met a friend at Sixes Tavern to catch up after the holidays. It was my first visit to the restaurant, I was more than delighted to see a quality restaurant in our neighborhood. I found the service friendly and efficient.
Sixes Tavern owners have also taken their customer’s well being into their marketing plan. For anyone that shouldn’t drive home after a night out, they will be given a ride within a 5 mile radius of the restaurant. Bravo!!!
