The Kroc Center and Salvation Army Grand Opening Festivities.
The Augusta Kroc Center is Due to Actually Open on August 7, 2011. The Pre-Opening events planed for Saturday Augusta 6th are just as spectacular as the Kroc center itself will be. As Part of the Harrisburg Revitalization Plan.
The open house is being held to showcase the Kroc Center’s facility and programs. The official Grand Opening is scheduled for August 7th, 2011. The center held a “soft opening” for its first 500 members Monday.
“Just like the programming that the Kroc Center has, offering something for everyone, so does the lineup of talent that is scheduled for the grand opening celebration.
The Augusta Kroc Center is a $100 million fitness, education, performing arts and worship complex funded through memberships and an endowment established on behalf of the late Joan Kroc For Kroc Centers across the US.

All the numbers are in and Augusta faired fairly well in home sales for the Month of June. With a total of 137 homes closed.
Of that 137 homes sold in Augusta
22 were New Construction
41 were REO's Bank Owned/Goverment Foreclosures
2 were Short Sale's
The really good news for Augusta Home sellers for June was the Re-Sale home Market had 72 Sold Homes.
Which is much better than the Columbia County Market that only had 83 Re-Sale homes out of the 229 Homes Sold.
