One thing we all have to push harder in a slow market!! But hey we're use to hard work, right?? It's NOT like a buyer comes to us and says I'll buy the FIRST HOME You show me, right?? Ha HA!! We would all be doing good if it were that easy!!
On a SERIOUS NOTE I wrote 3 contracts last week and closed on another!! SO I know first hand the Market is coming around!! I too have experienced slower than normal market conditions!! I have been in for a little over 3 years and this has been my SLOW start of a new year!! However in February we are starting to get more leads from our "lead traps" and I am starting to get ALOT more showings on my listings!!
It is STILL a BUYER'S market but this is the TIME TO BUY!! So encourage your buyers and educate them on what a GOOD decision they are making in buying in today's EVER changing world of REAL ESTATE!!!
HAPPY SELLING TO YOU ALL!!

One question you can ask your clients or customers from the many different areas they live in.... Are you tired of paying high taxes and high insurance rates?? Here in North Georgia & Western North Carolina we are Blessed to have lower than normal taxes and insurance rates!
You can go to /http://www.qpublic.net/ga/union and you can go to Estimate Taxes and punch in the Price you will pay for the home and it will show you!! Just per say you were paying $200,000 for the home and $1,144.00 Per year!! WOW, huh?
I work referrals and if you or someone you know is wanting to get into an area where the taxes are low then I can help them!! One more thing that is very interesting... Is our Change of Seasons!! Let me say right off that I never dreamed I would be writing a post about something like this. Not here, in our beautiful, tranquil Georgia mountains. We do have many, many visitors who come to our area for the peace, beauty and sense of safety. We love our visitors but this should serve as a reminder to everyone that you must exercise prudence even in a place that seems nothing bad could ever happen.
I'm not sure how many have heard the story of Meredith Emerson who came up missing on New Year's Day while hiking in the North Georgia Mountains. It has been in the local news, of course, and I'm sure on the national news too. Meredith was first thought to have gotten injured on one of the trails, but it wasn't long before investigators realized that foul play was responsible for her disappearance. Many volunteers from local areas were trying their best to find Meredith and keeping the faith that she would be found alive. This ended very badly for Meredith and her family as we in North Georgia and surrounding towns hoped and prayed she would be found alive. We share in the grief of Meredith's family and friends and her faithful dog. Our heartfelt sympathies go out to all of them. Meredith's body was found several days later, in an area that was many miles away from where she was actually hiking.
We, in North Georgia are heartsick over this despicable, evil act. This sort of thing just doesn't happen here. But the reality is, it happens everywhere and can happen anywhere. This sad tragedy has affected everyone in the mountains and no matter where you go around town; people are talking about it as a way to heal and try to make some sense of an act that is entirely senseless.
Please read some of the articles below to learn more about safety tips when hiking as well, as more information about Meredith. As Realtors, this should be another reminder to all of us to always keep up our guard and even when someone appears friendly and harmless, that may not at all be the case. Investigators feel that because Meredith had her dog with her and met up with a man who had a dog (who is now charged with her murder) caused her to have a false sense of security and let down her guard.
Below are additional links about Meredith's ordeal and murder.
