Every Saturday through September you can find a FARMERS MARKET at Northeast Baptist Church on Chamblee Tucker Road. Tim stopped by Saturday and bought some fresh corn for our labor day picnic.
Tim especially enjoyed the stall with organically grown vegetables. Heirloom tomatoes, arugula, radishes and more tempted the chef to sir up some new saues and recipes.
The ladies at left were selling organic honey.
Another stall had artisan goat cheeses for sale.
And if you were hungry or thirsty you could feast on fresh baked pastries and bread or some fresh brewed orcanically grown coffee from Costa Rica. This is a fun event and a great way to kick off a Saturday. Open through the end of September.
LOCATION: Chamblee Tucker Road outside the perimeter. Embry Hills neighborhood ear the intersection of Chamblee Tucker Road and Evansdale Road.

Henderson Walk Subdivision in Embry Hills Neighborhood of Atlanta GA One of First DeKalb County Cluster Developments
Henderson Walk subdivision was a "new concept" in 1982 when large homes on small low maintenance lots were introduced to the metro Atlanta housing market. Now known as cluster home communities, Henderson Walk met some resistance from the community who had preconceived notions about small lots in new home developments. Once the housing product was finished, consumers began to realize the small low maintenance lot did not affect the value of the home. Buyers were actually looking for a larger, full size home but wanted to give up the headaches of maintaining large lawns and landscaping.
Henderson Walk homes are four sides low maintenance brick which added to both the architectural look of the community and the long lasting integrity of the housing product.
