Use the Lion as your example for how you should be in your business. The Lion uses all his strength even when the prey is a rabbit. So in your business you should be a Lion too. Small closings, a general inquiry, something that seems more of a distraction than actual business can pay unexpected dividends.
It only happens if you are a Lion. Face it a Lion is respected ,held in awe, and feared . You should be respected, and held in awe by your clients. You should be feared for your tenacity by your competition. So study the Lion.
BUT if you are going to use a photo from your home to illustrate your point. ,a kitten might be a safer subject. Have a great week.

This is the last of my posts on Mountain Lakes. The Lake today is Lake Tamarack in Benttree. Tamarack is about 100 acres and again just wonderfully nestled in the mountains.
The community of Benttree offers Golf, Tennis, Swimming, and an equestrain center. I hope you have enjoyed these photos. The goal was to show how the Southern end of the North Georgia Mountains are a beautiful wonderful place. This first Picture shows the expanse of the lake The photo to the Left and below was taken from the boat launch area. You cannot imagine how sweet the grass smelled and how wonderful the breeze was that day. I sat there for a while after the picture was taken. The last picture shows the expanse of the Lake the other way. If you saw yesterdays post you will notice Sharp top Mountain in the back ground. Many of these beautiful lakes are so close together. Come explore North Georgia you will be glad you did

One of the least expensive , peace of mind, things you can do when buying a home is to have an inspection. Now in Georgia unfortunately, you do not have to be licensed. But there are major associations and folks who have been working at this for a while. Your Realtor can help you in this area.
The inspection report usually has a caveat about being done on things visible. So what is invisible? Radon for example. If you are worried about mold that too. So remember the level you go to with inspecting a home is often up to you.
What the inspection report is not is an opportunity to get more money off the house. If there are legitimate concerns then so be it. But things like extending a down spout, ( a ten dollar item at home depot and 10 seconds to install, are not reasons to beat up a seller for concessions.
If you are concerned about a home or a home has some age consider asking for a home warranty. In this way you will be blanket protected and you will have peace of mind. If you are selling this is a good idea to offer up front.
Listen to your inspector. Read his reports. I have had 3 occasions when a buyer has ,after the fact, complained about an inspector. Yet in all three cases the items the buyer was complaining about were clearly noted in the inspection report !

It is Spring (officially) in the mountains. Friday we had 70 degree temperature. Today looking out my window we have snow flurries. If that isn't Spring I don't know what is. But this leads me to write a bit about the North Georgia Mountains.
The common misconceptions about Georgia are, It is flat , and it is hot. This is because many experience Atlanta in the summer, or drive through Georgia on I 95. In both cases it is hot and on I-95 really flat. But there are mountains in Georgia.. I am at 2500 feet. You can be as high as 4,000 feet in spots. The beauty of the North Georgia Mountains are fourfold.
1 The climate is good. You do not have harsh winters. You are rarely iced in. The summers are great and altitude cools. It is rare that we at 2500 feet run the A?C. So from a fuel standpoint you will heat less in the winter.
2 Because of our late development we are very ecologically minded. Some counties are almost 50 percent green space. Having said that many counties are in the top 50 in the US in Growth.
3 Prices are great. COMPARE US. I cannot tell you how many people are so thankful they came to Georgia before they bought elsewhere in the mountains.
4 The people are great. We are not inundated with visitors and tourists. For sure you will find more out of state plates in car parks in the summer sometimes than local. But you never feel like you are a foreigner in your own land. So people are good and helpful.
