Stonebridge at Mud Creek offers its residents a beautiful swimming pool. It is fantastic for small children as it has a shallow 3 foot area with a built in bench that runs around in the inside of the pool. Mud Creek Line State Historical Marker is located just minutes away on GA 120 near the Helmswood Drive intersection, just east of Mud Creek, Cobb County. Mud Creek runs through the front of the neighborhood. The historical marker is to commemorate where Hardee’s intrenched line crossed the road at this point — position held June 17-19, 1864 by Cleburne’s Division after withdrawal of Johnston’s left flank from Gilgal Church.
