Roswell is close enough to Atlanta for the residents to enjoy all that the big city has to offer. Concerts, shows, museums, and more are plentiful in downtown Atlanta. Along with everything Atlanta has to offer, a quick look around Roswell will take you through, plenty of parks, shopping, and beautiful homes in a suburban settings. Roswell Park is the one of the largest parks Roswell has to offer. This large community park has everything a family needs for a great day of fun. The city is also the home to a historic district. Historic Roswell, Georgia has everything from century old houses to fine boutiques located in the town square.
Roswell Education and Schools
The public school system is managed by the Fulton County School System. Many of the schools in Fulton County, including Roswell, enjoy great ratings on GreatSchools.org and have even been featured in national publications such as Newsweek Magazine. High attendance, low student-teacher ratios, and high test scores have all contributed to the success. The two high schools of Roswell and Centennial are tops in the state of Georgia. Although Roswell has no major Universities within city limits, residents commute to many of the fine colleges nearby including, Kennesaw State University which is one of the largest Universities in the Atlanta Metro area, and has an excellent nursing and business program. Also just a few miles away Kennesaw, is the Woodstock location of Chattahoochee Technical College, which is one of the top technical colleges in the North Georgia area.
