It has been official for almost 2 weeks now. Frankie G's Island Diner is now Island Grill! We have a new chief, Greg Smith. Greg has been a cater on Saint SimonsIsland for over 10 years since having worked of The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead in Atlanta, GA. The new menu features some old favorites like the rock shrimp martini, Greek gyro, and more. New featured items are angel cakes (a crab cake meets a hush puppy), blackened shrimp Greek salad, a cheese cake sundae for dessert and so much more!

Stop in everyday for Happy Hour from 4-6pm at the bar featuring 2 for 1 draft beer, 2 for 1 well drinks, and $5 house wines. We are also going to start a special early bird menu very soon. Island Grill still offers the BEST Sunday Brunch on Saint Simons Island!! Come see us 7 days a week.

Frankie G's Island Diner on Saint Simons Island will be closed all day Monday November 2, 2009 and Tuesday November 3, 2009 for a minor face lift. We will reopen on at 11:30 am on Wednesday November 4, 2009.

Upon reopening after the face lift we will become Island Grill and will introduce a new menu. Featuring some of our classics, fresh seafood and grilled to order steaks. Our new general manager and head chief Greg Smith has designed the new menu.

Come join us this Wednesday November 4, 2009 for our Grand Reopening as Island Grill!!! We are still going to be located at 44 Midway Square Saint Simons Island, GA 31522 behind Oglethorpe Bank. All the same servers, bartenders, and cooks you have come to know over the past 5 years will still be here to take care of you!

It's the last weekend in October again, that means it is Georiga/Florida weekend in The Golden Isles! The annual SEC East match up is played in Jacksonville, FL. This year the game is set to kick off at 3:30pm and will be aired on CBS.

While in The Golden Isles be sure to stop in and grab a drink and a meal at Frankie G's Island Diner on Saint Simons Island. This year we are doing a special menu starting Thursday October 29, 2009 and ending Saturday October 31, 2009! The menu features island classics like hand patted burgers, chicken sandwiches, fresh caught grouper sandwiches, other freshly caught seafood, and so much more!!

Frankie G's offers a full bar and daily drink specials!!! Remember to join us on Sunday November 1, 2009 for our famous Sunday Brunch!!!
