Snellville's newest jewelry designer, Venus Parker, is debuting her busines, Artzy Beads, on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m. The event will be in the Kensington Community Clubhouse near the Avenue at Webb Gin (1267 Kenilworth Trace, Snellville, Georgia 30078). Come join us for an evening of food, fun and fashion as Venus debuts her latest designs that are on the cutting edge of the fashion world.

It is snowing in Atlanta. High temperatures are expected to only reach 32 degrees tomorrow. The system, which wasn't expected to deliver much snow to Atlanta, has stalled over the downtown area for around the last 3 hours. Accumulation is being reported on roads, especially secondary streets.

Kensington is a Brookwood gem. Built by John Wieland, the neighborhood has many of the features that are typcial of his neighborhoods such as swim/tennis, a lake, and a clubhouse, Each home features an expansive floor plan. Most homes are 3000+ square feet. Many homes feature his and hers closets in the master, jetted tubs. A good proportion of the neighborhood now has new roofs.

This is a very well kept neighborhood run by a community association company. Owners take pride in their homes and neighborhood.

Community wide events are planned often. This gives the neighborhood a community feel. The pool is a the perfect place to catch up with your neighbors.
