Two new bank owned Hanapepe homes came on the market. Both owned or marketed by Wells Fargo. They are committed to fixing up their homes to make them livable. Kalele is fixed up and now and probably under priced. The contractor did a great job. Puolo has too much going on to do repairs. Either new permits need to be pulled or it needs to revert to the single family home it is permitted for. Our new listings that are not REOs will be blogged about on our Facebook page. My REO assignments have definitely slowed down as have everybody else’s on Kauai due to Act 48. I still have around 20 that are in my queue that are in premarketing or eviction. Wells Fargo (WF) wants to sell their REOs repaired so I am always looking for licensed contractors willing to do repairs. Unfortunately due to WF rules I can’t hire my husband M. Caspillo Construction. (a great contractor) So all others please apply.
