According to the Kauai MLS there were 76 closed sales for the month of December 2010. Only 12 of those were REO sales or 15.79%. I’m expecting this ratio to be higher for January 2011. Many of my REO escrows got pushed to January. There should be plenty of REO inventory for 2011, but the well priced properties will still sell quickly. We have our first HUD Home. Like many of the banks it is offered to owner occupants first. Sorry the blog is a couple of days late. Lets hope this year is a healty, happy and prosperous one for all of us.
