For all you music lovers out there, it is time to mark your calendars for the FREE Summer Concert Series 2011 at beautiful Riverstone Park off of Northwest Boulevard in Coeur d'Alene.  I have some photos of the park on my YouTube video below, I'm sure you'll like what you see!

Riverstone is a lovely venue, located along the Spokane River and beside a private pond with a big fountain painting a backdrop just as pretty as a picture!

The Coeur d'Alene Arts & Culture Alliance free summer concert series runs from July 7, 2011 through August 25th, Thursday nights from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.  Did I mention that the concerts are FREE?

July 7th will be the Pat Coast Band playing Blues, R&B and Roots Rock.  (I've never heard of roots rock, wonder what that is....)

July 14th:  Kathy Colton and the Reluctants playing Folk and Blues.

July 21, the Which Doctors will be playing Classic Rock & Roll.

July 28:  Ruth and Friends will be playing The Great American Songbook.

August 4th will bring Common Ground with their Contemporary/Pop.

August 11: Borderlline will be crooning country/Western.

August 18:  The Panhandle Polecats will be tearing it up with their Bluegrass.

August 25 will showcase Northwest Jazz and their Big Band Jazz.

One beautiful morning not long ago, business took my husband and me to the Riverstone area of Coeur d'Alene.  As I drove through, beautiful Riverstone Park caught my eye.  Its signature fountain was spurting the familiar huge burst of water, which was sparkling in the sunlight.  The grounds were meticulously maintained and picture perfect. 

And there wasn't a soul to be found taking advantage of one of Coeur d'Alenes most lovely park settings!

Riverstone is just one of North Idaho's premier development projects that became a victim of the mortgage crisis and real estate market meltdown.  Although the vision was grand, the timing was unfortunate.  There are more commercial vacancies than there are tenants.  Real estate auctions have attempted to sell the condo inventory as well as the commercial assets.  There are high end, bank owned custom riverfront homes on the market for a song.  Nevertheless, Riverstone remains an attractive and desirable place to be.

During July and August, the Coeur d'Alene Arts and Culture Alliance presents a summer concert series at Riverstone Park in Coeur d'Alene. Each Thursday from 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. you can enjoy a free concert from a variety of local musicians. Join the celebration on Thursdays from 6:00 - 7:30pm, July 8th - August 26th.

Enjoy the lovely natural surroundings of Riverstone Park while music fills the air! If you haven't yet experienced Riverstone Park, you are in for a treat. It is beautifully located on a private pond near the Spokane River, on the Centennial Trail with a backdrop of timbered foothills.

Luxury Condos at The Villiage at Riverstone to Hit the Auction Block on December 12th

After two previous false starts - auction dates that were postponed for lack of buyer interest - it looks as though these condos are finally going to be auctioned off. I posted the original Press Release about the condo auction on my blog back in May, then that date was postponed. I then posted the rescheduled auction announcement on my blog in June. After that auction was cancelled, the condos were removed from the market and the phones at the sales office went unanswered for months.
