Yesterday I was driving south of Harrison and I saw this fun street sign out of the corner of my eye. I turned around to see if it really said what I thought I saw. Yep! Just thinking about "Grandma's Way" made me chuckle.

I'm heading to Colorado in a couple weeks to babysit my darling granddaughters for a few days. You can bet that while mommy and daddy are gone we will be doing things Grandma's way. Which is just another way of saying While the cat's away the mice will play!

This pretty autumn day I had an opportunity to head south of town along the eastern side of Coeur d'Alene Lake along the Lake Coeur d'Alene Scenic Byway. (I'm not sure why sometimes it's Coeur d'Alene Lake and others it's Lake Coeur d'Alene...)

I came across this barn. It was pretty as a picture so I decided to take one of it. It is located along Highway 3 just south of Harrison in an area known as Harrison Flats. Isn't it fun to imagine what stories this old gal could tell!
