Eagle Brook subdivision was begun by Joe Keim Enterprises and Genevafield Venture has over 500 single-family homes with a few lots remaining available. Building began in 1990 with the centerpiece of the development an 18-hole, 6,830-yard, championship golf course. The 254 acre Eagle Brook Country Club Golf Course, of which 92 acres are preserved wetlands, is surrounded by custom built homes.
Children living in this subdivision can walk to the Western Avenue Elementary School and have two parks within the subdivision to play at.
Eagle Brook Park is a 5.26 acre park located on Bent Tree Drive and has a baseball diamond, picnic area, and playground. The smaller 1.39 acre Fargo Park, on Fargo Avenue, has a playground and picnic area.
