Only 10 minutes from downtown Naperville lies one of my favorite towhnome communities.
River Bend, in Lisle Illinois ...
I am biased. I lived there with my wife Nicole for 5 very happy years...
Brick and siding. High ceilings and great windows. Brick paved driveways and sidewalks...
-A picture I took of River Bend on a snowy January day.
Nicole and I used to joke that "It is always sunny at River Bend." It's really quite nice.
The location is great too. Close to several major highways, Lisle is between Downers Grove and Naperville.
The homes are now priced VERY affordably...
The best units were selling quickly in the mid $300K's just two years ago. Today those same homes are selling in the mid $200Ks (see below).

How is your business plan coming?
Do you have one?
I did. Ken's 6 month business plan. It was simple, yet it kept me on track. Focused. I completed "the plan" about a month ago.
I have yet to put a new one together...
I am still working hard. Open houses. Delivering newsletters. Blogging. Showings. Listings...
Yet I don't feel quite as confident because I am no longer "on plan".
Hopefully succesful, but who really knows?
So how is your business plan coming?
Do you have one?
If you don't, why don't you try making a ONE MONTH PLAN...
Keep it real simple. The more details you add, the harder it is to follow...
Commit to doing something positive, put it down on paper, and give it a month.
You will feel good...
If you had a plan, perhaps you have fallen behind or fallen off?
That is OK too...
It is VERY easy to fall off your plan. But it's just as easy to get back on it...
Remember, keep it simple...
I will have my new plan written soon. I will share it online.
In the meantime, I am just going to keep on delivering my newsletters...
Ken

I was hoping for a cold and sunny day.
What I got was a snowstorm...
It was Saturday morning. I was taking pictures for my new listing, 1116 Longwood Drive, Lisle.
It was snowing heavily. The skies were dark.
Although it wasn't what I planned on, it was fun taking pictures in the snow...
Ken
-I thought it was neat how the snowflakes came out. They look like stars.
-The sidewalks and steps had yet to be shoveled. I was wearing clogs. Not very smart.
-The courtyard looks neat in the snow. It was pretty dark out for 11 AM.
-The pictures came out faily nice. Here is the back of the house.
-Look at the snowflakes!
