Who Can Walk
Woodfield Walker is a free club open to everyone. If you are over 40, have been treated for cardiovascular conditions or have high blood pressure, heart, lung or vascular disease, you should consult your physician before beginning any exercise program. If you don't have a physician, contact AlexianConnects at 1-866-ALEXIAN (1-866-253-9426) and they can provide a referral.
How Do I Join?
Woodfield's Guest Services, located next to Comcast Connections Court, is the information station for Woodfield Walkers.
To sign up for Woodfield Walkers, simply fill out a form at Guest Services after 10:00 a.m. Monday through Saturday and after 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Your membership entitles you to receive a Passport to Savings booklet for valuable discounts to numerous Woodfield stores and restaurants.
Tracking Efforts
When you register, you will receive a mile manager. Each day you walk, fill in the date, time and miles that you walked that day. All miles and minutes should be sub-totaled monthly. Once the mile manager has been filled out you can pick up a new one at Guest Services.

Membership Benefits
Woodfield Walkers members enjoy number benefits in addition to getting in shape and feeling great! As a member, you will receive a monthly breakfast, giveaways and information on other Woodfield Walker special events.
The Passport to Savings booklet entitles members to valuable discounts to numerous Woodfield stores and restaurants.
- The Woodfield Passport to Savings must be presented at the time of purchase.
- The Passport to Savings is valid through December 31, 2008.
- The Passport to Savings cannot be redeemed for cash and is not transferable.
- Discounts cannot be applied to previously purchased merchandise.
- Discounts and offers may be changed or canceled at any time without notice by participating merchants, prior to the expiration date of the Passport.
- Discounts and special offers apply to Woodfield store locations only.

It's hard to imagine that 37 years ago Woodfield Mall opened with just 28 specialty shops and three department stores. Now, it houses nearly 300 stores and restaurants and five anchors and is the core of the entire northwest suburbs. 
1970, the population was 19,000; in 1980, it mushroomed to 55,000; and, according to the U.S. Census Bureau, Schaumburg had over 75,000 people in 2000. Schaumburg Mayor Al Larson observed that, "Woodfield established a focal point for development throughout all of the northwest suburbs. Without Woodfield, we wouldn't have office towers in Itasca or corporate development in Hoffman Estates."
