Creating Winter Curb Appeal When Selling a Vernon Hills Home

Although its hard to add curb appeal in the winter months its just as important to create a warm and inviting exteriorr for potential buyers

3. Caution wet paint! As winter approaches make sure to give your exterior a fresh coat of paint if needed. As the trees lose their leaves and plants fade your homes exterior is is in full view. It is inmportant to have it looking fresh and clean at all times.
4. A splash of color. Its important for your homes entry to be inviting so the buyer can't wait to come in and see your home. Fill planters with evergreens to soften up the entry. Add tiny white twinkle lights to add atmoshere and ambiance to your entry. You can also take fresh evergreen trimmings and create a beautiful arangement that will not only look nice but give off the fresh evergreen aroma as buyers enter your home. Make the front door a focal point with a large wreath adorned with a colorful ribbon.
5. Wow! I love your giant inflateable Santa! Large holiday decorations on the home and lawn will distract buyers from seeing your home. Keep holiday decorations simple while your home is on the market. No matter inside or out try to keep personal taste to a minimum so potential buyers can themselves buying and living in your home.
