Homes In Historic Downtown Woodstock Illinois
Well I made it to Woodstock in good time with no snow to slow me down, however, it is snowing now...it's beautiful and I miss it. I also miss being able to just log on and visit my AR friends and these trips make that a little difficult. The worst is reading on my Droid all the comments left at my posts and not being able to respond...at least until now. Currently I'm at the mercy of the Woodstock Public Library which is closed...on to plan "B"...Starbucks. Actually, this is my first Internet visit to Starbucks and it's not as bad as I thought it would be...after all everyone else here has a computer...wow how coffee shops have changed.
Earlier this morning I drove around historic Down town Woodstock and thought I'd share some photo's of typical homes around the Square. Hope you enjoy the town I call home.
The following three photo's are of the Royal Victorian B & B that was featured as the Bed & Breakfast in the movie "Groundhog Day". It's located at 344 Freemont St. and the phone number is 815-308-5432...just in case you wanted to call and make reservations for your next Illinois trip.
Below photo's are other historic landmark homes in Woodstock.
There are many other great examples of homes in the historic Downtown area of Woodstock Illinois, but I just wanted to give you a feel for the area I miss so much.

If you need a knowledgeable real estate professional in Madison or Huntsville Alabama area, why don't you let me Google that for you! I also know outstanding agents in all states and Canada should you need help relocating to a new area.

Woodstock Illinois...My Last Look At The Neighborhood.
On my last day in Woodstock I thought I'd take a couple of photos's looking out the front and back door of my home there just as a reminder and to show you why I miss it so much. Now these are not views like Craig Rutman had on his Thanksgiving trip to Florida, but still it's home to me and just as peaceful. The next time I visit home there will probably be several inches of snow that always make for great photo opps. Hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving.
View out my front door.
View out the back
Looking north.
Looking south
Okay, sunny Florida it's not and I would have had a great time with Craig in Florida, but home is where the heart is and the heart was in Woodstock Illinois this Thanksgiving Day.
If you need a knowledgeable real estate professional in Madison or Huntsville Alabama area, why don't you let me Google that for you!
