There were lots of great shots of trees in all their splendor at the Battle of Tippecanoe Bi-Centennial over the weekend. This tree on the east bank of Burnett's Creek caught my eye amid the beautiful red foliage.

SPLASHES OF COLOR BETWEEN BURNETT'S CREEK AND THE BATTLEFIELD PLATEAU

SHADOWS CAST: Walnut and Sycamore trees stand watch where Native American forces passed to break through Harrison's lines on the plateau above.

Darn it!!! Being a re-enactor is such hard work!

Burnett's Creek appears red from fallen leaves and the reflection from the red leaves on the bank.

The Tippecanoe Battlefield is recognized as a NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARK site.
A full schedule of events is set for Saturday, November 5th and Sunday, November 6th starting at 9:00 A.M. each day.
On Monday, November 7th, The Harrison High School band will give a musical performance commemorating the Battle of Tippecanoe starting at 10:45 A.M.
