With the resignation of Board Member Ruby Martin, there is a vacancy on the Elkhart County, Indiana, Washington Township Board.

Elkhart County Republican Chairman Dale Stickel has called a caucus to fill this vacancy. The cascus of all eligible precinct committeemen/women will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Bristol Fire Department, 405 East Elkhart Street.

Candidates must be a resident of Washington Township, a registered voter and in good standing with the Elkhart County Republican Party.

Eligible candidates must submit form CEB 5 to Stickel and a copy to the election supervisor at the Elkhart County Courthouse at least 72 hours prior to the caucus. Contact Stickel at 574-522-7555.
