Westville Indiana Independent Cat Society is hosting it’s annual Holiday Open House –

Saturday, December 10^th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Sunday, December 11^th from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.

Place – Independent Cat Society shelter at Route 6 and County Line Road, Westville, Indiana.

The Westville Independent Cat Society has

been a no kill shelter since 1977! You can adopt a cat for

only $35.00 until December 31, 2011. This fee includes spay

or neuter, current vaccinations, flea treatment, nail trim and a

free initial vet visit with one of our partcipating vets within 2

weeks of the adoption. They will have baked goods and cat

toys for sale

Tucked back in the lush woods of scenic Galena Township, the history of this local restaurant goes back to the 1940's!

The parking lot was packed and there was a line, so we sat and had a drink and appetizer at the bar before being seated.

They are know for their Prime Rib and even have a 40 oz cut of Prime Rib on the menu! (8 oz was more than enough for me LOL).

Open 7 days a week, if you are looking for excellent home cooking, friendly service, in a country setting, this is definitely a repeat :)
