Isn't it funny how beautiful snow is when it's falling and then so dreary when the chemicals from the road muck it all up? Here are some photos from the storm on Friday. I guess we were lucky...we got just over 5 inches, but our neighbors to the east were hit much harder!
Enjoy!!!

An Indianapolis Market Report was recently released by the Indiana Association of Realtors about homes sales in December 2009. The report stated that home sales increased 4.1% across the state of Indiana and that medial home prices increased 20.9%. The IAR gathered data from 23 different MLS's and the BLC.
In Indiananpolis, the report states that 775 sold in December 2009 vs. 700 in December 2008 for a decrease of 9.7%. In Hamilton County, 271 sold in December 2009 vs 289 in December 2008 for a decrease of 6.2%.
I found the year to date numbers to me a lot more meaningful.
For example, in 2009, 9881 homes were sold in Marion County. That is 9.1% fewer than the 10,871 units that moved in 2008. In Hamilton County, sales were down 7.11% from 4,347 in December 2009 to 4,011 in December 2008.
