When you look at the amrket from the stand point of not just a Realtor but a historian of sorts you can see the direction we are going. We went through this is the sixties, seventies and eighties. We were due for a turn in the merket. tHis one was just more complex. When you look at the trends real estate as an industry went into a downturn in September 2007. From then forward we have gone down. With January 2009 we saw an upturn in many markets here in indiana a nearly 20% increase and some market as high as 30%. This was a seasoal pick up but I feel it could be more. Sice real estate leads the economy into the bad it shall also lead it out. The refi market picked up with the drop in rates and so has the market overall. As we watch the reaction that the governement will do twards real estate we will see more come to play.

The air was chilly and the snow was falling, but nothing that a super soft oatmeal raisin cookie and a cup of hot cider couldn't handle.

The first Saturday in December marks the celebration of a "Victorian Christmas" in Mooresville. For us, it also marked the grand opening of a brand new "Mega Agent Office" for our fellow KW sister Stephanie Stewart.

Stephanie was just granted permission from KW International to open the office on her own so it was a little bare, but the mood and the spirits were definitely high. There were horse drawn carriages and strolling musicians, fully dressed in period costume.

With the help of her friends at Five Star Mortgage Solutions, the timing couldn't have been better for Stephanie's Grand Opening. The location is right on Main Street in downtown Mooresville and we know she's going to do very well there. Best of luck Stephanie!!!
