It's officially the Christmas season! I've decided that just now because it is finally snowing in Valparaiso, Indiana! There's snow on my driveway. Snow on the roof tops. Light dusting of snow on my yard. Snow in the streets.

The Texan in me still gets excited over snow falling! Everything looks so different and beautiful covered with that powdery white stuff.

I am so blessed to live in Valparaiso, Indiana where we experience God's beauty of season changes. We're close to the Lake Michigan beaches to enjoy the water in the summer but for now we have SNOW! I feel like a little kid whenever it snows. It makes me want to go get a sled. OK, so there's not enough snow for sledding yet, but soon!

I thank God for making my Monday morning so special with our first real snow of the season in Valparaiso, Indiana!
