How to put a price tag on a home that you have personally decorated, raised your children in and put hours upon hours of maintenance, lawn mowing, painting, etc....

Homes are priceless when you really think about all of the memories they contain and all the happy events that occur there. I think about my parents home and how I would feel if they moved. It has the bedroom I slept in the night before my wedding, it was the home I came back to when I got lonely in college and it was the place where I became who I am today.

This home below is not my own, but is a special place with many memories for me and it is difficult to put a price on it.

How important should a view be when buying a home? I know when I was looking for a home, one of my top 5 things that I wanted was a view of the sunsets. The others were... a fireplace, a basement without crumbly limestone rocks, large closets, and a large family room for entertaining. I didn't end up getting my view, but I got all the others and a pretty great house. Sometimes, you just have to compromise. This home not only has a great view of sunsets, but of firework displays, football games, and city lights.
