When selling a home in Oak Grove, Kentucky one must now have a business license issued by the Oak Grove City Hall. On Thursday November 20, 2008 the City of Oak Grove along with the Oak Grove Police Department went around and removed many Real Estate signs from the front yards of home listed For Sale. This had many home owners calling their Realtor looking to see why their sign was removed. On Friday the Oak Grove City Hall was busy with Realtors coming in to see about their signs and why they had been removed from private property and having to purchase the newly required business license from the City of Oak Grove, Kentucky. Although Realtors are licensed by the State of Kentucky to sell Real Estate across the state, Oak Grove now requires anyone selling a home in the city limits to have a Business License.

By the end of the day the City of Oak Grove was busy driving around and returning Real Estate signs that they removed from the front yard of homes listed For Sale across the city.
