Dr. Bruce S. Haskell, D.M.D., Ph.D.
Dr. Haskell is a board-certified Orthodontist who has served the Louisville area in private practice since 1978. A member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Dr. Haskell is on the faculty of the University of Louisville School of Dentistry and is currently a full clinical professor.
An internationally respected author and lecturer in orthodontics, Dr. Haskell has published works in biomechanics, diagnostics, early treatment, habit modification and dento-facial orthodontics. He also holds patents for state-of-the-art orthodontic devices that are widely used throughout the country. Dr. Haskell’s patients have even been on the covers of Teen and Time magazines.
While Dr. Haskell provides virtually all types of orthodontic treatment, his practice shows special interest in:
- Straightening crooked teeth in children and adults.
- Treating younger children with a developing underbite.
- Habit modification for problems such as thumb sucking.
- Correcting long-standing alignment problems in adults.

Dr. Jennifer Haskell, D.M.D., M.S.
Dr. Jennifer received her D.M.D. and M.S. in Anatomical and Neurobiological Sciences from the University of Louisville. She was born and raised in Louisville, KY, attending duPont Manual High School for Visual Arts and the Math, Science, Technology programs. Her undergraduate training was completed at Washington University in St. Louis with a double major in Biology and Anthropology. Dr. Jenny also participated in published research in Bone and Mineral Diseases while working at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Her Masters’ work, focusing on Obstructive Sleep Apnea, was also recently published in an international journal of orthodontics. Her orthodontic residency was completed at the University of Rochester, Eastman Institute for Oral Health, which is also Dr. Bruce Haskell’s alma mater. They have actually shared some of the same professors and mentors! During her orthodontic residency at Eastman, she learned many new techniques for the diagnosis and the efficient treatment for all types of orthodontic problems. She is excited to bring the latest in cutting edge technology to Haskell Orthodontics and plans to practice with her father for many years to come.
