The below information is for single family homes in the French Quarter for the month of September, 2011. The information presented here is based on information from the New Orleans Metropolitan Association of Realtors and it’s MLS and is deemed reliable but not warranted.

At the end of September there were 26 single family homes on the market in the French Quarter. The high price was $2,800,000 and the low price was $495,000. The average was 3 bedrooms, 3 baths and 3,350 square feet. Average asking was $1,114,277.00 with 130 days on the market.

The median was for a 3 bedroom, 3 bath with 2,782 square feet. The median listing price was $924,500.00 and 115 days on the market.

SOLD – 6 single family homes sold in the French Quarter during the month of September, 2011:

The highest price was for a 5 bedroom, 5 bath with 3,250 square feet asking $1,280,000 and selling for $1,184,000 with 328 days on the market.

The lowest price was 1 bedroom, 1 bath with 715 square feet. The listing price was $265,000. and the selling price was $235,000.00. This property sold immediately.

The average was 3 bedrooms, 2 bath with 1,737 square feet listed at $683,00. and selling at $635,983.00. Days on market were 136.

The median was 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and 1,382 square feet with a listing price of $672,000.00 and a selling price of $610,950.00. The listing price/selling price was 91.15% with 88 days on the market.
