About New Orleans' Mid-city

Historic Cottage in the Mid-City area of New Orleans. Off Esplanade Ave. close to City Park. This area is not that big but has some great historic homes.

My neighborhood, the Farigrounds Triangle recently held its Night Out Against Crime and it was a great success. So many neighbors and even homeowners with rental property in the area braved the heat to join the fun and discuss important safety issues and ideas.

Thanks to the Farigrounds Triangle Neighborhood Association for all the effort. It was fantastic. Sorry for the grainy picture from my camera phone!

Active Rain and the Press

The local business newspaper called today. They wanted information on a listing in the Mid City New Orleans area. The reporter asks various questions and I gave my answers. Our listing on North Jeff Davis is under contract hopefully it will close by month's end. Hurricane Gustav delays this closing by about 14 days.

I ask the reporter how she found me and she stated she read a post Active Rain about a listing I have on N. Jeff Davis Pkwy. Here is another reason to blog. Become the go to guy in your area, always keep in mind you never know who will read your post or where it could take you.
