365 things to do in Worcester county - see Cemetary Club at Barre Theater in Barre. Yes, I'm a huge fan of the arts and I need to expand your culture intrests. So I'm recommending this play as your option for 365 things to do in Worcester County. Not only that, but Barre Theater is a wonderful theater. It has one of the largest stages, which supports big cast producitons, such as the Scottish Play, where I played one of the witches. It is also quite intimate and works well for small casts as in Marvin's Room where my character had to hold a family together and battle the big C, all with a lot of comic relief.
Now Barre Presents "The Cemetery Club" , a heartwarming comedy by Ivan Menchell. It is the story of three Jewish widows who meet once a month for tea before going to the cemetery to visit their husband's graves. When Sam the butcher enters the scene, everything goes awry!
The cast features Cynthia Beale of Barre as Ida, Patti Schaaf of Wheelwright as Doris, Ginny Catanese of Athol as Lucille, John Goodale of Princeton as Sam, and Jessie Olson of Newton as Mildred. Directed by Aaron Littlefield.
Performance dates are October 8, 9, 10 & 15, 16, 17. Friday and Saturday performances are at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees at 2 p.m.
