I get so tired of turning on the news and hearing about all the shenanigans going on lately...useless trips to Asia, the impending doom that is the health "care" bill, Massachusetts sales tax increasing, our legislature adjouring for the rest of the year even though we have a $125 million deficit... (come on people, seriously?)
When I moved to Boston I decided the quickest way to meet people would be to get involved in some type of political group. Once I started listening to the news I knew I absolutely had to. My friends back home told me I was crazy to move to such a liberal state with my very conservative views... (after seeing the taxes taken out of my paycheck they might not be far off). I decided to help out with the July 4th Tea Party and met Brad Marston, the organizer of the event. It was refreshing to meet another common sense conservative up here!
I'm so glad we have people like Brad who will step up to the plate and tackle the mess that is Beacon Hill. Brad is running for State Representative in the Suffolk Eighth District, against incumbent Marty Walz. His campaign is based on common ground and common sense: fixing our "spending crisis" instead of continuing to raise taxes, changing the "behind closed door" culture Beacon Hill is so fond of, and helping to get the 20,000 at-risk youth into good school are just a few of the issues he's focused on. With over 25 years of experience in both finance and business management, Brad has the know-how to get the job done.
If you're in the Boston area, stop by Cafeteria (Newbury St) on December 9th from 6pm-8pm for a meet and greet with Brad!
Check out Brad Marston's site, his Facebook page: Brad Marston for State, or his YouTube page!
