Thanksgiving Eve Service, November 24, 7:30pm A shared tradition continues. Join the First Religious Society and St. Irene Catholic Church for a Thanksgiving service hosted by Fr. Donohoe and St. Irene Church, 181 East Street. Rev. Diane Miller will preach, and the combined choires of the two congregations will sing under the direction of Denise Glennon.

Carlisle HolidayDay After Thanksgiving Public Walk, November 25th, 1:00pm The Trails Committee is running its annual Day After Thanksgiving Walk. Meet at the Great Brook State Park parking lot near the pavilion. They will be walking through the Stone Row area and on into Chelmsford and returning on a different trail to inspect the area where selective logging is going on. Community Thanksgiving Dinner, November 25th, 4:00pm The fourth annual Carlisle Community Thanksgiving pot-luck dinner will be held at Union Hall, First Religious Society, 27 School Street. This event is free, buy you do need to register at 978-369-5180 by November 22.

Advent Wreath Making, November 28th, 3:30pm Advent wreath forms and candles will be available for sale. Please bring greens, clippers for cutting if you have them, a holder for the candle in the center and a plate or platter to place the wreath. Winter Holiday Concert, December 5th, 7pm Choral and instrumental music, vocal solos, hand-bells, jazz group and audience singing of songs and carols from several traditions. Union Hall, First Religious Society at 27 School Street.

Holiday Toy Drive

Each year the Carlisle Police Department conducts a toy drive to benefit local children in need. Toys can be dropped off in the police department lobby during the first few weeks of December. Toys should be new and non violent.
