Pittsfield MA Home Inspectors

Jim Mushinsky: Real Estate Trainer in Framingham, MA

A home buyer in Pittsfield MA should receive a brochure, Home Inspectors Facts for Consumers Sheet, at the time of the signing of the first written contract to purchase.

Home Inspector BrochureA standard Massachusetts home inspection is a visual examination of the physical structure and major interior systems of a residential building consisting of one to four dwelling units. It should be understood that there are certain risks inherent in the purchase of property and a home inspection is inherently limited in its scope and depth. The information gained from home inspection conforming to the Massachusetts Home Inspector Standards of Practice may reduce some of those risks, but the home inspection is not intended to provide the client with protection from all of the risks involved.

Lunch at Alpamayo a Peruvian Restaurant in Lee MA

Jennifer Fivelsdal Rhinebeck Real Estate (Serving Dutchess| Columbia|Ulster Ctys: Real Estate Agent in Rhinebeck, NY

Today I went Leaf peeping in the Berkshire. I took the train ride from Stockbridge to Lenox. My option was a two how lay over at the museum in Lenox or two hours to walk around Lee. I decided to spend the two hours in Lee where I discovered a lovely Peruvian Restaurant called Alpamayo. I like all sorts of cuisine and somehow I knew this would make my day.

I love Yucca (cassava) but I have never had it in the form of fries, I really loved it and will probably make it myself. A good portion of the menu was centered around seafood which I love, so I really enjoyed the food.

For dessert I had a Flan, it was called something else which I can't recall. All I can say is that it was awesome. I have a love hate relationship with flan, I hate it when I can taste egg. This was just creamy and delicious.

I would definitely go back.

Wordless Wednesday - Steely Dan concert at Tanglewood

Recently I went to a Steely Dan concert at Tangewood. Okay, I knew the name of the band and the connection to nearby Bard College but not much more.

I don't get invited too often to a concert - not since I slept through Aretha Franklin's concert and awoke to say how disappointed I was that she did not sing Respect (She actually did). How do you ever overcome something like that?

My husband wrote this review of the Steely Dan concert.

Berkshire Real Estate - Golden Opportunities!

Marlene Goldstein: Real Estate Brokerage in Great Barrington, MA

According to Harvard University, The State of the Nation's Housing states that "Historically low interest

rates and bargain prices have made homeownership the most affordable it has been at any time during

the past 40 years" And while the market in the Berkshires has not been as hard hit as other areas in the

country, we have seen decreases in new home production and household formation suggest that as

demand for homes returns over the next couple of years it could outpace supply. Nobody knows exactly

how the recovery will unfold, but over the long run, owning property has always been a solid investment.

Here is a great flyer that has been prepared from information released by The National Association of

Realtors.
