Fridays Are Filled With Music & Fun at Sturbridge Coffee House

I'm doing my prospecting calls and emails from Sturbridge Coffee House. About 20 minutes ago at 10AM a young man came in with a guitar and microphone and setup center stage in front of all of the children and is singing children's songs to their happy little faces.

If you haven't seen Sturbridge Coffee House's new location you are missing out! It's 2 stories and setup perfectly to conduct business, read a book or enjoy a cup of coffee with friends. They're now making fresh waffles with anything you'd like on them and have an oatmeal bar full of toppings.

If you're looking for something to do with your kids on a Friday morning at 10AM, stop by the Sturbridge Coffee House for some music and fun. It sure does brighten up this snowy, rainy day!

RE/MAX Balloon Comes to Sturbridge

RE/MAX hot air balloon

Calling all RE/MAX agents in New England! The RE/MAX hot air balloon will be making an appearance in Sturbridge, MA, today Sept. 19. The balloon is part of the first-ever Fiskdale Fest, an event celebrating the 5th anniversary of the Copper Stallion, and the 20th anniversary of the Sturbridge Country Inn.

For those of you who may not know, Fiskdale is a village within the town of Sturbridge, on the western part of town. While still a part of Sturbridge, Fiskdale has its own zip code and post office, and tends to be where the action is: plenty restaurants, shops, artisans and craftsmen, festivals and so on.

The hot air balloon will be sited in Turner Field on Route 20 (Main Street). It is across from the Sturbridge Country Inn.

The balloon is expected to arrive around 3:30 pm, and tethered hot air balloon rides will be given from 4:30 - 6:30 PM. A donation for each ride is requested, the proceeds of which will go to the Second Chance Animal Shelter in nearby Brookfield, MA.

Fiskdale Fest also includes live music, kids activities, and food from local vendors. Come on down, bring the family, and enjoy the day.
