Today, there are presently 40 single family homes on the market in Medway, with 6 of these flagged (offers accepted but taking back-ups just in case...). So, we are probably looking at 34 houses in town presently on the market, currently FOR SALE. Back on November 23, there were 50 single family houses in MLS on the market. The number of sold houses pretty much cancel out the number of new listings since then. The major drop, from November 23 to today, as expected, is due to listings either expiring, being canceled or simply being temporarily withdrawn. If you, as a seller, presently have a property that has been tough to sell, priced to "keep", this just might be the best opportunity to move it at its current price. In a couple months, maybe even before then, inventory levels will be up again. So, if you're planning on entering or re-entering the market in the Spring, why wait for the competition? Act now!
